Sad Goblin Wizard Boi & The Dungeon of Reflection

A top-down shooter where a little Goblin who has been bullied by one cruel Mr. Tusk goes on a dungeon crawling adventure of shoot-em up self-discovery. He learns to love himself and that Mr. Tusk isn't really worth his time (afterall, he used that one spell in an awfully creepy way...)

All the floors of the dungeon are symmetrical, and you can teleport across the dungeon with your trusty "Vanish In Smoke" teleportation spell.

It's lacking a little polish and was difficult to balance, but I hope you enjoy all the same.

Controls

• WASD | Movement
• Left Click  | Sparkleshot - A fast, small star that deals good damage but can only hit one target. Can be held down for continuous shooting.
• Right Click: | Rainbow Wave - Shoot a rainbow arc out. Slower rate, slower speed, and lower damage, but can hit several targets before disappearing.
• E | Vertical Teleport - Teleport and reflect to opposite side of the map vertically.
• F | Horizontal Teleport - Teleport and reflect to the opposite side of the map horizontally.

 Stat Upgrades

Behold, the S.H.A.R.T. system (Todd Howard, eat your heart out!) Fight enemies, get stronger, and level your stats.

• Speed - Run faster and make your spells fly faster.
• Heart - Increase your Hitpoints!
• Attack - Increase your spell damage.
• Reflection - Who knows? Maybe talk to the mirror about it? Probably a waste of time.
• Talent - Get better at casting spells. Increase your cast rate and spell size!

• All art, audio, and game code created originally for the jam.
  • All SFX were made with a KORG ER-1 (Electribe-1) analog drum machine.
